The New Jersey Conservation Foundation, also known as NJCF, was founded in 1960. It is a private, nonprofit organization that protects strategic land, promotes land use policies and forges partnerships to achieve conservation goals. The New Jersey Conservation Foundation protects critical habitats and farmland and safeguards natural resources. It promotes innovative tools to improve the New Jersey s land use system, protect water quality, ensure healthy communities, and support local and statewide land activities. The organization provides support, training and technical assistance to private citizens, local land trusts and state environmental groups. The New Jersey Conservation Foundation maintains its headquarters in Far Hills, N.J.
