There are two schools in the Morris Plains school district: the Mountain Way School (K-2) and the Borough School (3-8). Public school students from Morris Plains attend school in town from kindergarten through the eighth grade. In ninth grade through 12th grade, they join students from Morristown and Morris Township at Morristown High School.
