Founded in 1926, The Merchantville-Pennsauken Water Commission (MPWC) supplies the water needs for both the Borough of Merchantville and the Township of Pennsauken. The association also serves portions of the City of Camden and the Township of Cherry Hill. It serves water 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. The association has more than 220 miles of water mains, and has almost 16,000 connections serving almost 50,000 individuals. Some of our largest customers include the Cherry Hill Mall, the Garden State Race Track Development, Aluminum Shapes, Inc., J&J Snacks, Cooper River Plaza Apts., Heinz Foods, the Merchantville and Pennsauken Country Clubs, and Pepsi Cola, among others.
