Spring Brook Country Club, established in 1921, is a private club located in Morris Township. It features an 18 hole golf course, a driving range, putting green, tennis and paddle courts, a competition-size swimming pool and a snack bar. Tennis and golf shops are an added attraction. Spring Brook's golf course was designed by Walter J. Travis, an inductee in the World Golf Hall of Fame who designed and remodeled more than 50 courses. Spring Brook Country Club is also a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, meaning that it has met certain standards in areas such as water conservation and preservation of animal habitats.
