Mainland Regional High School is an academically oriented four-year public school with an enrollment of more than 1,600 students. It is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the New Jersey Department of Education. The school s curriculum includes more than 220 diverse course offerings in the areas of language arts literacy, visual and performing arts, mathematics, science, social studies, business, world languages, and health and physical education. It also includes more than 15 advanced-placement courses, over 30 honors classes, and nearly 10 gifted and talented subjects. The school also offers technology-related courses, including Web authoring, visual basic, computer programming and TV production. Additionally, the school broadcasts on the local cable television station and offers distance learning to community schools. The school also has a store that offers hats, sweats, snacks, T-shirts, blankets, gym bags, scarves and school supplies.
