Laird & Company sells a variety of spirits, wines and other products. In 1780, Robert Laird established America s first commercial distillery in the small community of Scobeyville, N.J. The company established its import division in 1995 and currently imports a wide range of wines and spirits from throughout the world. Among the many products represented in its portfolio are Moletto Pinot Grigio, Santa Sofia Amarone, Vicchiomaggio Chianti, Pietrafitta Vernaccia, Valdivieso Chilean Wines, Artic Vodka, Villa Massa Limoncello and Mazzetti Grappa. A popular company product is AppleJack. AppleJack is similar to apple brandy, and it is a drink that Abraham Lincoln served in his Springfield, Ill., tavern. Laird & Company also sells imported olive oils and balsamic vinegar.
