History
Ken's Body Works, once known to everyone as Ken's Auto Body, has been a family-owned and -operated business since 1971. Kennedy E. Kowalski started out fixing cars for friends and family--one man with a single-garage bay and a true passion for cars. His reputation and business quickly grew. By 1981, Ken opened up his first official shop complete with 2,000 feet of work space and two loyal employees. Within few years, Ken realized he was in need of an even bigger space. In 1987, he opened up what is now the current site of Ken's Body Works, a 5,000-square-foot facility that proudly serves all of New Jersey. Ken passed away in 2008, but his legacy lives on. Over the past six years Kens Body Works has expanded its services to include full service fleet management as well as truck body and heavy equipment repair. Today, the facilities have grown to 11,000 square feet in order to accommodate the large vehicles and buses. Despite the growth, the core of Kens Body Works has never changed:
