John F. Kennedy Elementary School was founded in 1960 as Crescent Parkway School. Currently, it serves more than 250 students in kindergarten through grade four. The school offers courses in mathematics, Spanish, science, physical education, art, reading, computer applications, and instrumental and vocal music. John F. Kennedy Elementary School also provides character and special education programs. The school offers a variety of lunch options for students. It maintains a library that stocks several curriculum-related books, periodicals, and leisure reading and study materials. In addition, its parent-teacher-student organization sponsors various enrichment activities for the benefit of the school. John F. Kennedy Elementary School is located in South Plainfield, N.J., and is a part of South Plainfield Public Schools.
