History of Green Lawn Green Lawn Sprinkler Systems was started in 1957 as a part time business. Principal work was cutting lawns and installing lawn irrigation systems. In 1962 the company became a full time business for Burton Kreisworth and Albert Soto. Burton had great "people skills" and could sell products and services while Alberto was a master of anything mechanical (plumbing, electrical, etc.) Over the next four decades, the company expanded to include landscape design, installation and maintenance. Principal work has always been commercial and high-end residential with landscape projects in Ocean City, Sea Isle, Avalon, Wildwoods, Vineland, Bridgeton, and Millville. Our customers sell our services and our reputation is impeccable. Many landscape architects, area nurseries, and builders recommend us to their clients. In 1996, the company was sold to John and Joan McQueeney who continue to uphold the high standards of the company. In 1999, the name of the company was changed to Green Lawn Landscaping, LLC to better reflect the full scope of work that we do. The company is a seasonal business operating from mid March to early December each year. The company employs approximately 17 employees organized into work crews of either two or three. The crew chiefs have been with the company for years ranging from 12 to over 25 years.
