HistoryOpening in 2006, the Language and Enrichment Center started as a Mommy and Me program and over the last decade has developed into a highly regarded fun and educational school.SpecialtiesOne of New Jersey's premier destinations for early childhood education and enrichment classes. Our focus is holistic child development through programs that address different aspects of a child's growing mind and body. The L.E.C is a 501-C3 organization. We have a variety of ongoing classes such as Let's Play in Italian bilingual playgroups, as well as Spanish and English classes, full/half day Italian preschool and kindergarten, full/half day Spanish preschool and kindergarten, Sew What? Sewing classes, Pompeii Pottery, Little Sprouts Organic Gardening, and Nonna's Bakeshop. We also offer themed birthday parties, a half and full-day summer camp program as well as Mangia Mangia cooking camps. The center gives personal development opportunities to adults as well, with wine tastings, book clubs, Pilates and yoga classes, art workshops, and Italian conversation classes. The LEC is committed to offering only those programs and events that educate, entertain, and inspire children, as well as the adults who nurture them.
