The FOCUS Community Health Center is a nonprofit agency that offers educational and developmental programs for adults and senior citizens. The center provides career counseling, vocational training, and job placement and readiness services. It organizes classes in reading, writing, language and basic mathematics for individuals with low literacy levels. The FOCUS Community Health Center operates the Workforce Learning Link program, which offers technology-based training through digital television, Internet and print material. The center s youth development division provides after-school and summer programs for more than 550 students in kindergarten through grade eight.
