Hispanic Affairs, or Casa Hispanic, can be found in the St. Rose of Lima Parish Center, also referred to as the Centro Parroquial de Santa Rosa de Lima. This resource center helps members of the Hispanic community with career management, literacy, cultural adjustment and social health or well-being. It can give all kinds of practical support, from help filling out a form or legal document to a simple way to understand insurance. Career support available includes how to start and run a business, write a resume or work towards getting a better job. The center also assists people who need protective services or support in domestic violence cases. Hispanic Affairs offers workshops and classes on many subjects, including ESL, computer skills, life skills and parenting. A notary public is available on the premises. Additional Hispanic Affairs centers for Monmouth County are located in Red Bank and Asbury Park, the main office.
