History
Hennessey Heights Funeral Home has a rich history in the community dating back many years. Richard Nimmo started his own funeral service in 1962 in Hasbrouck Heights and in 1980, Scott Nimmo joined his father in funeral service. After years of hard work and dedication to funeral service, Scott acquired the Hennessey-Powell Funeral Home in 2006. Soon after, the name was changed to Hennessey Heights Funeral Home. In 2012, Scott's son Andrew and nephew Matthew Connors joined the family business. Two families that have grown up in the community have the understanding of providing compassionate care and exceptional service to families in their time of need.
