As a part of the Department of Administration of Hamilton Township in New Jersey, the Division of Personnel maintains applications for employment, administers personnel policy and reviews payroll for municipal employees. The Department of Administration also operates the Division of Budget, which prepares and tracks municipal budgets. The department also maintains the Division of Purchasing, which is responsible for the purchases all goods and services for several capital programs. Hamilton Township's government additionally administers finance, law, public safety, water pollution control, community planning and compliance, and health, recreation, senior and veterans services departments. It provides tax assessment and revenue collection services.
