Led by Superintendent Scott Armstrong, the Hackettstown Department of Public Works has six laborer/drivers on staff, one mechanic, an administrative secretary and a recycling coordinator.
The Department of Public Works is responsible for road paving and regular maintenance, such as sweeping, line striping, patching, and sign posting.
D.P.W. is also responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of storm sewers within the Town. In addition, D.P.W. also handles all snow/ice control with the help of Hackettstown Recreation.
