Funai Corporation is a North American sales and marketing company for consumer electronic products manufactured by its parent company, Funai Electric. The company s products include televisions, LCD and plasma display televisions, dual deck DVD recorders and VCRs. It markets its products under the Sylvania, Symphonic, Funai and Emerson brand names. The company is also environmentally aware and encourages patrons to recycle or redistribute their used televisions and electronic equipment. Wal-Mart recently awarded Funai with their Supplier of the Year award for aiding in the growth of Wal-Mart business and developing quality products. Established in 1977, Funai Corporation has offices in Teterboro, N.J. and Torrance, Calif.
