Prior to opening in New Jersey, Richard Hopkins established Pleasure Movers in 1982 which was located in Staten Island, NY. In 1988 he moved his family to New Jersey and founded Freehold Movers. Freehold Movers is a family owned and operated business. We provide customers with personalized care beginning with a free estimates, given by the owner who will personally come to evaluate the contents of your home. Maria, Richard's wife, works in the office to answer any questions you might have concerning your move. His two sons, Richie and Alfie, also work for the company moving furniture. Our employees are well trained professionals whose aim is to make your move as stress free and smooth as possible. We have a crew chief on every truck and all our crews are courteous and efficient.
