History
The Flanders Thrift Shop was started by the United Methodist Women's Group in 1974. It was originally located in the basement of the church and soon after was moved to its current location in the building next to the church. The Flanders Methodist Church Council now oversees operations of the Thrift Shop. In 2015 there was a complete renovation of the Thrift Shop building and we added two large tents for outdoor items. There is also a new clothing donation shed to help protect the donation from the elements. We have been blessed to have a very generous community and it is our pleasure to offer name brands at very affordable prices.
Specialties
The Flanders Methodist Thrift Store is an outreach of the Flanders United Methodist Church. Church members and volunteers from the community work hard to offer quality items at very low prices. Our Thrift Shop building has clothing, handbags, shoes, jewelry, and a gift shop area with various items. We also have two large outdoor tents for non-clothing items. We accept donations 7 days a week during daylight hours.
