A board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Zarro is a graduate of both Boston College and Georgetown University where he received his Master's degree. Dr. Zarro continued his medical education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed his residency at the University of Maryland Medical System and R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. While in his fellowship, he treated complex adult and pediatric spinal deformity as well as cervical and lumbar degenerative conditions using minimally invasive techniques and disc arthroplasty. He specializes in a full range of spinal disorders including degenerative disease of the cervical and lumbar spine, traumatic injuries to the spine, minimally invasive spinal techniques, disc replacement, scoliosis and deformity surgery in adolescents and adults.
