Diana's Sandwich Shop is a neighborhood breakfast and lunch spot, which opened 1955. Customers say that at Diana's, you are likely to be overfed. The fresh baked crumb buns are monstrous, with crumbs larger than some cupcakes might be, but the restaurant is really known for its soups. The menu is similar to that of a small diner.
The decor hasn't changed much over the years, with an open kitchen behind the counter, green and white checkered tables and handwritten menu signs hanging about the fryers. The staff is warm and welcoming, including owner and Hoboken native Tom Torre.
