Founded in 1950, The Children's Therapy Center, formerly known as the Cerebral Palsy Center of Bergen County, is a nonprofit organization that provides therapies and education solutions for children with developmental disabilities. It has served more than 300 children with physical and medical needs. The center operates a Therapeutic Clinic that offers speech, physical and occupational therapy services. The Children's Therapy Center provides classroom education in the fields of math, science, social studies, visual and performing arts, and health and physical education. The center administers the Early Enrichment Program, which includes services to stimulate development in the areas of language, fine and gross motor, social, emotional, and daily living skills.
