Kimberly Barnum
Kimberly Barnum, DO is a member of Summit Health's Family Medicine team. Dr. Barnum practices general family medicine and is experienced in the examination, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of conditions in patients of all ages. She believes in treating the entire patient (mind, body, and spirit), not just his or her symptoms and is appreciative of the care coordination Summit Health provides, should a patients medical needs be greater than what she can offer. Dr. Barnum is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Barnum enjoys spending time with her family, exercising (preferably Zumba), and playing soccer. Music has also played an important role in her life. Growing up playing the violin instilled in her a love and appreciation for the power of music, especially its power to heal. In medical school and during her residency, she helped coordinate and run drum circles for patients with traumatic brain injuries and intellectual or development disabilities.
