Founded in 1958, Camp Nejeda is a residential summer camp that serves diabetic youths and their families in New Jersey. The camp features a lake, indoor gymnasium, playground, swimming pool, sports fields, and hiking and biking trails. It organizes dance events and pool parties. Camp Nejeda also serves meals. The camp maintains a health center. It is accredited by the American Camping Association. The camp is administered by a nonprofit organization, the Camp Nejeda Foundation, which serves more than 400 children and family members. In addition, it offers family camp programs. Camp Nejeda is licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services.
