Burlington County Library System, also known as BCLS, operates several branch libraries, as well as maintains a network of member libraries in New Jersey. It has a collection of reading and reference materials that include foreign language titles, videos, DVDs, CDs, audiocassettes, and print and e-books. It also maintains more than 1,000 periodicals, as well as audiovisual and electronic resources. The system provides a bookmobile program that includes library service to neighborhoods in various parts of Burlington County, N.J. The system also manages over 70 electronic databases related to education, health, careers, college catalogs, business, history, multicultural issues and genealogy. It provides assistive listening devices, sign language games and computer software for people with visual and hearing impairments. Burlington County Library System has a staff of more than 210 employees.
