B & M Finishers has been providing anodizing prismatic stainless steel for more than 40 years. The company has a modern facility, automatic anodizing system, auto temperature controls, auto current controls, auto timing control and auto purification system. The color on its colored stainless steel is produced by an electrochemical process that creates a thin layer of chrome oxide on the stainless steel. By varying the thickness of the oxide coating colors ranging from champagne, bronze, blue, gold and black are achieved. The colors do not crack, haze or fade from ultra violet rays. Colored stainless is custom made to order. Colored stainless steel has been used for sculptures, elevator doors, walls and ceilings, column covers, railings, signage, decorative trim and medical parts. Deco-rolled embossed stainless steel is manufactured using patterned rolls. The standard patterns on the prime side of the stainless are leather grain, diamonds, linen, parquet, swirls or small squares.
