Assad Mujtaba is a board-certified NP with over ten years of healthcare experience. He works as an Emergency-NP at Montefiore Health System. Throughout his diverse past, he has served as faculty, educational leader, and emergency medicine provider. However, the most gratifying part of his career has been working in emergency medicine, focusing on the unique needs of the urban population.
Assad attained a degree in medicine in 2009 from a Caribbean medical school. He then went on to pursue his Master of Business Administration (Atlanta, GA 2010) and a postgraduate degree in Internal Medicine (University of Edinburgh). Assad completed his FNP training from Molloy College (2018). He earned his doctorate (DNP) at NYU.
