History
Desiree Gibbs' approach to physical therapy is unlike any other. She believes a beautiful and relaxing environment is optimal to healing. Desiree understands that injuries involve the entire body, not just the impaired body part, and therefore aims to treat the whole patient in an effort to repair the injury and reeducate them with functional exercises to teach them how they became injured. This helps the patient maintain the wellness they leave Ambient Physical Therapy with, and prevents re-injury in the future. Desiree really takes time with her patients. She spends a full half hour with each of them, working on manual therapy, electrotherapy, and various other individualized techniques that vary from patient to patient. She then closely monitors them as they complete their exercises, guiding them every step of the way. For this reason, Desiree started Ambient Physical Therapy, a place where she could give the utmost to every single patient who walked through her door!
