The Academy Learning Center offers a range of educational programs for children with autism and multiple disabilities. The center is governed by the Middlesex Regional Educational Services Commission. It assists in enhancing the behavioral and social interaction skills of students between the ages of 3 and 21. Founded in 1992, the Academy Learning Center specializes in speech, occupational and physical therapies. In addition, the center provides assistance with the development of readiness, academic, communication, and fine and gross motor skills. Its curriculum also includes leisure, music and adaptive physical education programs. The Academy Learning Center offers applied behavioral analysis, incidental learning and home programming services.
