The Division of Forests and Lands is a part of the New Hampshire Department of Resources and Economic Development. The division implements research-based outreach educational programs that focus on topics related to forest stewardship, forest industry economic development, and urban and community forestry. Its New Hampshire Natural Heritage Bureau locates, tracks, and provides information about ecosystems and rare plant species.
