Project Youth is a program supported by the Family Resource Center that provides homework assistance. The program includes enrichment and physical activities that connect to school curriculum. It also conducts several computers and arts and crafts activities. Project Youth serves more than 250 students. It features food and transportation services for students. The program is supported at Gorham, N.H. The Family Resource Center, established in 1997, administers several homevisiting, after-school and work skills development programs. The center serves as a venue for conducting substance abuse prevention and suicide prevention workshops and training. It also supports financial information, tax preparation and family support programs for low-income earners.
