The Hooksett Fire-Rescue Department provides a range of programs designed to protect the lives and property of the inhabitants of the Town of Hooksett, N.H. It serves a population of approximately 12,000 residents in more than 36 square miles. The department maintains a fleet of fire engines, pumpers, trucks, and forestry and utility vehicles. The department provides employees with training related to fire management, emergency medical services, hazardous materials mediation, search and rescue and vehicle extrication. It employs several firefighters and issues burn permits. The department operates two fire stations in Hooksett, N.H.
