Founded in 1976, Durgin and Crowell is a totally integrated, forest resource company in the state of New Hampshire. Its manufacturing operations include a two-sided sawmill complex, planer facilities and shopping areas. The company employs more than 100 people and produces over 30 million board feet of lumber annually. Durgin and Crowell s products include grades and patterns. Its clients include American International Forest Products, Seaboard International, George McQuesten Company, Epperson Lumber Company and Eastern Forest Products. Durgin and Crowell has a joint venture agreement with a 16-megawatt cogeneration power plant located adjacent to its property that allows for most of the wood by-products created by the mill and logging operations to be used as a natural fuel material.
