HistoryBE Fit is owned and operated by Bavid Barlow, DPT, OCS and Eric Ellingson, MSPT. Both completed their training in Boston, MA and worked there for a number of years with some of the best in the field. We then returned to the Upper Valley (Dave is a Norwich native and Eric is from central Vermont) to continue our careers and raise families. We met in 2007 and realized we shared a vision for a small, personal, excellent sports and orthopedic clinic in the Upper Valley. With the help of our excellent office manager Kylie Ammel, BE Fit was born. We have grown slowly and steadily since then with growing support from our active patients of all ages, the Dartmouth College community, and area primary care providers and surgeons. BE Fit Physical Therapy is an outpatient physical therapy clinic specializing in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation. We focus on providing a high level of individualized care for all of our patients. Our six licensed physical therapists average more than 15 years of experience in patient care, and we utilize no aids or physical therapy assistants. BE Fit specializes in treating active individuals of all ages, helping them to eliminate their pain to be able to BE Fit and BE Well. We are located at 45 Lyme Road in Hanover, just one mile north from the Dartmouth green.
