The Cummings Foundation for Behavioral Health, formerly known as the Foundation for Behavioral Health, is an independent, nonprofit research, educational and service institute. Founded in 1976, it delivers collaborative behavioral health care services to more than 36,000 Medicaid beneficiaries and over 91,000 federal employees. The institute collaborates with the Milton H. Erickson Foundation and the National Alliance of Professional Psychology Providers (NAPPP) and offers a distance learning program leading to the Master of Behavioral Healthcare Administration (MBHA) for psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists and counselors. The Cummings Foundation for Behavioral Health is a part of The Nicholas & Dorothy Cummings Foundation, which provides a variety of behavioral health services.
