Clint was born in Ely, Nevada, and raised on a 2, 200-acre cattle ranch in Currant Creek, Nevada. He enlisted in the U.S. Naval Service in April, 1992, and served on both the U.S.S. Mars, and the U.S.S. Mount Hood. During his service in the Navy, he was hailed by his superiors for his persistence and unswerving efforts toward self-improvement, and his devotion to duty. He received commendations for his ability to perform an extraordinarily wide range of tasks, and for not only surpassing, but establishing new precedents for performance within his Department. Clint's persistence and dedication have not diminished since he was Honorably Discharged from the Navy: He is one of the most energetic, hard-working individuals at SSC, and always willing to perform the dirtiest, most physically-demanding tasks right alongside his employees. Clint was the original founder of Spanish Springs Excavation, and ran the business on his own before joining forces with Adam Rutherford in 2004. Today, he oversees all operations for the company, lending his problem-solving and organizational skills, technical expertise, and motivation to every project SSC has ever completed. Anything but typical, Clint Manzonie is an All-American, hard-working man who enjoys wood-working, and spending time with his family.Adam grew up near Coos Bay, Oregon, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1995 from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering Management. In 2004 he partnered with Clint Manzonie, becoming Spanish Springs Construction, Inc, and has since bid and built a mix of public and private construction projects totaling over $30 million. Adam has served on the Education Committee for the AGC, and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the local chapter of the ABC. When Adam is not working, he can be found coaching his sons' wrestling and soccer teams, racing ATV's, skiing, and/or playing tennis with his daughters.Leslie moved to Nevada from Upstate New York in 1998, and began working her way up through the ranks of construction, working as showroom manager for a local ceramic tile materials supplier before obtaining a position as a Project Engineer with a general building contractor in Carson City, where she worked closely alongside the VP/Project Manager on several multi-million dollar educational facilities and other local Public Works projects. From 2002 until 2008, Leslie worked for a locally-owned design-build architecture, development, and general building contracting company, where she was closely mentored by the owners throughout each process of various successful construction business ventures, giving her vast and diverse experience in all facets of building construction, including the development process, sub- and prime contracting. Leslie has managed and/or provided site supervision and coordination for commercial building projects up to $3 million, multi-family communities up to $6 million, custom homes up to $2.5 million, and heavy civil projects up to $2 million. In her free time, Leslie enjoys various crafts such as knitting, crochet, sewing, quilting, paper crafts, and watercolor painting.
