History
The building was build in 1953 by Evert and Doris Blackburn. They called the Grandview because they commissioned an artist to paint a landscape mural on the walls. Deb Kalkwarf bought the building on 2010. Deb wanted to restore the mural but it would have been too costly. One of the Blackburn's grandsons, Craig still comes in for a meal and/or a beer every once in a while. He was telling me about him and his brother would nap under the counter in one of the cupboards while their mom was working.
