Between 1920 and 1935, a group of the original Blackstone's Hotel’s key decision makers held a weekly poker game centered around food and community. It's rumored that within this late-night circle, this group, dubbed "The Committee", not only gambled but took turns cooking for the group, and made many of the pivotal decisions for the hotel's future. The Committee Chophouse is an homage to this group, and captures the spirit and cheer of the original Blackstone Hotel's private club. Located inside The Cottonwood Hotel, a reinvention of the historic Blackstone Hotel, the restaurant marks a return to the art of the Chophouse. Enjoy tableside dishes, steaks cooked to perfection at 1,200 degrees, boozy martinis, and great conversation with familiar faces or new comrades. Finish off your dinner with cocktails in the world famous Cottonwood Room.
