Mental Health Crisis Center
The Community Mental Health Center, also known as CMHC, is a health care agency that is a part of Lancaster County in Nebraska. The center provides mental health care and rehabilitative services for adults with psychological distress and other mental illnesses. The Community Mental Health Center is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). It serves more than 9,500 people annually and offers outpatient psychiatric services, including medical assessment and therapies. The center administers the Behavioral Health Jail Diversion Program of Lancaster County. It houses the Crisis Center, which is an assessment and stabilization facility for adults. The Community Mental Health Center also organizes various workshops and exhibitions.
