Dodge Elementary School is one of the elementary schools governed by the Grand Island Public Schools, and offers classes from grades prekindergarten through six. Its curriculum includes phonetic learning of English language, science, social studies, mathematics, performing and visual arts, and music. It also provides field trips and choir programs, and various sport activities. The elementary school has a fully equipped library and computer laboratory, and also organizes carnivals and summer programs. The elementary school is located in Grand Island, Neb., and enrolls more than 440 students in Hall County. The school also operates a hot lunch program, and students identified with special needs are served through a three-county comprehensive special education cooperative, Central Nebraska Special Services Program. The district includes 14 elementary schools, three middle schools, an alternative middle school, one senior high school, and an alternative high school.
