Spread over 568 wooded acres overlooking the Platte River Valley near the town of of Linwood NE, the camp is named after the early 19th century Baptist missionary Moses Merrill who, along with his wife Eliza, ministered to the local Native Americans of eastern Nebraska. The camp is open to all denominations and non-profit organizations. It has ten modern cabins that sleep up to 100 people, a large multi-purpose lodge, a chapel, a conference center, swimming pool, tennis court, baseball diamond and other recreational activities. There are also camping areas for tents and RVs with water, sewer and electrical hook-ups. The highlight of the year is the summer camping program for children and youth. This is a vibrant and exciting ministry that focuses on spreading the Gospel message within a camp environment. All the traditional summer activities such as swimming, hiking and horse-back riding are offered, and they are anchored by a strong message of the redemptive love of Jesus Christ. The young people are encouraged to grow in their faith, to ask questions and seek answers. Many find Jesus Christ for the first time!
