The museum has changed from a more traditional, small-town museum to an interpretive museum that explores history fully through the stories behind photographs and artifacts.

Specialties

Park County, Montana and Yellowstone National Park history but especially the stories behind the artifacts and family and children's activities. Outdoor exhibits, too!

Very interesting museum. Don't forget to go out back to blacksmith shop and schoolhouse. The train caboose in front is fully outfitted with bunks and workstation reflecting the era.
