Pfouts & Russell general store was established in 1864. The mercantile (later called Rank's Mercantile) has been serving the community since then.

Rank's Mercantile is the oldest general store in Montana. Established in 1864. If you need it, we generally have it. We carry, books, period clothing, toys, gifts and groceries. The POD, our used book store, is open in the basement.
