Based in Huntley, Mont., Huntley Project Museum of Irrigated Agriculture is a fun educational museum providing an insight of the homesteading era and life on the Huntley Project. It includes homestead buildings from the early 1900s. The museum center houses everyday items of the homesteader families as well as records and photographs of the Huntley Project communities. Some of the items it features include quilts, dresses, dishes, cookbooks, hand tools, saddles and farm machinery of the men and handmade toys of the children. The museum also holds summer car shows and other annual events. Additionally, its gift store provides items, such as shirts, lamps, caps, books and quilts.
