HistoryThe original house was built & owned by Ron Therriault, chairman of the Salish Kootenai tribes in the 1980s. He lived in Missoula to teach Native American studies at the University of Montana. The house was known as the Yellow Raven Lodge, a small retreat center for families, workshops, reunions, and personal retreats. In 1998, I bought the house & the land, which is nearly 10 acres, the majority of which is natural wildlife habitat.
