Whitecliff Park is composed of 85 acres of woods, trails, paths, footbridges, creeks and a former quarry that is now a meandering pond with rock formations rising from the banks and tree-lined hills overlooking it. A section of the eight-mile Grant's Trail (former railroad right-of-way) runs through the park for cycling, hiking and strolling. A 22,000-square foot Community Center located in the preserve provides all sorts of fitness equipment, activities and lessons for residents and their guests. Lighted tennis courts, sports fields, picnic pavilions, basketball courts and a playground are also here, as are bathrooms. Crestwood's outdoor Aquatic Center supplies a lap pool, slides, a lazy river and more.
