Founded in 2000, University Academy is a college-preparatory charter public school that provides educational services for students in kindergarten through grade 12. It offers classes in language arts, music, math, science, social studies and physical education. The school organizes basketball, football, baseball, volleyball, and track and field activities. In addition, the University Academy conducts several extracurricular activities, including local, regional and national competitions and debates. It also provides before- and after-school programs, as well as health care, transportation, food, counseling and social services. The school has a library that stocks a variety of study materials.
