Glenridge Elementary School serves more than 350 students in grades kindergarten through five. The student-teacher ratio in the school is 12-to-1. Admissions are based on a combination of factors that include personal interviews with the students and parents, academic records, admission tests, recommendations from teachers, a classroom visit and other related information. Its curriculum includes reading and language arts, foreign languages, science, social studies and math. It also includes art, music, computers and physical education. Glenridge Elementary is a Title 1 school. Based in St. Louis, the school is recognized by the United States Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon school for excellence in education.
