History
AIA St. Louis is the professional organization of architects in the St. Louis region, affiliate with the national AIA headquartered in Washington, DC. The St. Louis founding was in the 1800s, but the bookstore opened in St. Louis in 1958, and has been in its current location for nearly twenty years. The bookstore/gift store is maintained by the members of AIA St. Louis to serve as a means to showcase the wonders of great design, whether in our buildings, our books or our gifts. We know that design matters and it is evidenced in our store.
