One of five malls in the St. Louis area owned and managed by CBL and Associates Properties, South County Center boasts about 150 stores. The multi-level mall opened in 1964 at the intersection of Lemay Ferry Road and Lindbergh Boulevard, with easy access to Interstates 55, 270 and 255. It is anchored by Macy's, JCPenney, Dillard's and Sears and also has a large Borders book store. Amenities include wheelchairs, strollers, a family lounge and play area, gift cards and ATMs. The food court is populated by such standards as Sbarro, Sonic, Subway and Mrs. Field's Cookies. Other chain restaurants located in the mall are Applebee's, Qdoba Mexican Grill and Noodles and Company. Freestanding stores and restaurants on the mall's outskirts are Buffalo Wild Wings, Chuck E. Cheese's, Dobbs Tire and Auto, JC Penney Catalog Store, National Tire and Battery, Romano's Macaroni Grill and US Bank.
