Founded in 1990 Skyline Elementary School serves more than 500 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. It maintains a parent-teacher organization that assists in fundraising activities and organizes cultural arts programs and book fairs. The school s academic curriculum includes reading, writing, math, English, social studies, science and language arts. Its students are supported the Boys and Girls Club of West Central Missouri, which is a nonprofit organization that provides after-school care through the After School At School program. Skyline Elementary School also administers the English for Speakers of Other Languages program, as well as offers lunch options to students. The school is a part of Sedalia School District 200, which operates various elementary, middle, high and adult education schools.
